The White Swan
The White Swan
The White Swan is a little gem sitting right on the river in Twickenham's quiet, leafy part. The pub dates back to the 17th century. There is a print by Samuel Scott, dated 1760, that hangs above the fire in the bar. The terrace balcony of the pub is a great place to sit and perhaps eat whilst watching the river. They also serve food in their garden terrace on the riverbank. A great place to stop if you’re considering visiting Orleans House and gallery or, just round the corner, beyond Orleans House are Sion Road and then Montpellier Row, with Georgian terrace houses.
